Home Banking and Bill Payment Upgrade FAQ’s
Q: Why is UMFCU upgrading the home banking service?
A: To further enhance the product and services provided online for our membership.
Q: Will I continue to login in using my current username and password?
A: Yes, you will login using your current username and password. You will then be prompted to select a watermark specific for you when you login to eBranch in the future. You will also needto answer a new set of security questions.
Q: Will the home page of eBranch be changing?
A: Yes, you will see a new home page on eBranch. The look will be a little different but the functionality will remain the same.
Q: Will my account alerts transfer to the new platform?
A: No, you will need to set new account alerts for your account.
Q: Will all of my scheduled payments and existing payees transfer to new Bill Pay?
A: Yes, all scheduled payments and payees will transfer to the new Bill Pay platform. We encourage you to verify the information though.
Q: What is the cut off time for next business day electronic payment processing:
A: 12 Noon PST is the cut off time, Monday – Friday, excluding holidays.
Q: Will Financial Institution transfers be impacted?
A: Your payment information will transfer over but there are a few payment frequencies that will not be supported, they are: Bi-Monthly, Four Weeks, Quarterly and Semi-Annual payment frequencies. You will need to update the transfer to one of the following payment frequencies: Bi-Weekly, Monthly, One-time, Weekly or Annually.
Q: How much history will I have on eBranch?
A: You will have two years’ worth of account history available.
Q: Will my Bill Payment history transfer over to the new Bill Pay platform?
A: Your payment history will not transfer over but we will have 6 months of support thru ORCC’s “Payment IQ” website for the first 6-months following the 1-28-13 conversion . Only the Credit Union will have access so please forward any questions through member services and we will research them to the best of our ability.
